Bladesmithing classes in Cheshire

A.D.Price Metalcraft offers bladesmithing classes in Cheshire for individuals who are interested in mastering the art of the craft.

Bladesmithing classes by an expert

Alex Price business owner of A.D.PriceMetalcraft provides bladesmithing classes to individuals for groups of a maximum of five, who are interested in mastering the art of making a blade they can call their own.
A Bladesmithing Class is provided for individuals or a maximum group of five in a genuine Victorian forge built in 1885, starting at 10am and finishing at approximately 4pm with a half an hour lunchbreak halfway through so please bring a packed lunch.
The task allotted to students is to make a bespoke hand forged knife, after Alex Price has demonstrated, which you keep as a memento of your bladesmithing experience.
Bladesmithing classes take place all year round on designated days, please see below. If a designated day is not convenient for you then please contact Alex Price as other days can be accommodated subject to availability. Perhaps you would like to buy a voucher stating a booked day or an open voucher  for a designated day to be booked, as a Birthday or Christmas gift for someone who would like to experience bladesmithing so please contact Alex Price to purchase a gift voucher. 

Advanced bookings are advisable and a bladesmithing class costs £170 per person. This will include expert tuition by Alex and complete use of the forge under supervision. Fires will be ready for you on your arrival in order to crack on for the day. Safety gear will be provided and all specifications of the finished items meet UK regulations.
